Emma comes home with new mommy Barbara...

 

Ottawa, August 26, 2005.

I picked up Emma in Sofia on July 11, 2005. Emma is such a wonderful child. I am amazed all the time how bright, brave and resilient she is. I cannot believe that we have been together for only 7 weeks. She is adjusting so well. Now, she sleeps very peacefully every night and every afternoon. She gets up before 6:00 am always with a smile (she an early bird like I am). Of course, she wants breakfast immediately. She loves to be outside and to take her doll (called Baby) for a walk in her little stroller. She loves water. We had have a great summer so she has been able to play with water every day. She loves her evening baths and can wash herself and her baby very well and of course wants to do it. She even brushes her teeth. Now we are going through a toilette training. When I remind her, she is almost running to the toilette but of course there are false alarms too.

She is very happy and very attach
